The 8th grade Students in the Science Club read Magic School Bus from DEQ on Deisel air pollution to younger elementary students. The students also tested air samples from indoor and outdoor sources around the parish concluding that indoor air was worse than outdoor air as well as identifying what is pollution and how to come up with workable solutions to help fix the problem in the Lake area. Then, they created cartoons and submitted them to the American Press, the Mayor, and the Governors office.The Club President and Vice Presedent atteneded a talk on Louisiana's Environment.
